The short version
This site publishes articles. You read them. That's the transaction. I do not build profiles on visitors, sell data to brokers, or run retargeting infrastructure. The privacy surface here is small by design, not by accident.
What this site does not do
To be precise about what isn't happening:
- No user accounts or registration
- No comment system storing your details
- No behavioral ad targeting
- No selling or sharing of visitor data with third parties for commercial purposes
- No dark patterns designed to extract consent
What does happen
Reading content. Articles, blog posts, and case studies are served publicly. No login, no paywall, no tracking wall.
Contact and inquiries. If you email me or book a call through a scheduling tool, I receive whatever you choose to share — typically a name, email address, company, and project description. I use that to respond to you. I don't add it to any mailing list without your agreement.
Analytics. This site may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand which articles get read and where traffic comes from. If present, it collects aggregate data (page views, referrer domains, approximate geography at the country level). It does not fingerprint individual visitors or build cross-site profiles.
Third-party embeds. The site links to and may embed tools from:
- Zcal — for call scheduling, when you choose to book one
- Google — for fonts or other infrastructure (subject to their policies)
- LinkedIn and X — linked from the site, not embedded in a way that tracks your reading
Each of these operates under its own privacy policy. I don't control what they collect when you interact with them directly.
Cookies
If cookies are set on this site, they are functional — things like analytics session identifiers or theme preference storage. There are no third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser and the articles will still load fine.
How I handle contact information
If you email me or submit an inquiry:
- I use it to respond and, if relevant, to conduct business with you
- I keep it for as long as the conversation or project relationship is active
- I don't use it to send newsletters or marketing without asking
- I don't sell it
Your rights
If you've contacted me and want me to delete that correspondence or any personal details you shared, email hello@ninadpathak.com and I'll handle it promptly.
If you're in the EU or UK, you have rights under GDPR and UK GDPR including access, correction, erasure, and objection. The same email address applies.
Changes to this policy
